SocialFlow Names David U. Simon Chief Marketing Officer to Scale Publisher Presence

SocialFlow, the leading social marketing platform that helps publishers drive results across media strategies, has inducted David U. Simon as the CMO. The veteran digital ad innovator will be responsible for all marketing efforts at SocialFlow, with a focus on refining the brand and scaling its presence in the publishers market. He will also lead the marketing of SocialFlow’s recently released data-driven advertising solutions.

Jim Anderson, Chief Executive Officer, SocialFlow, said in a release, “David is an enormously talented marketing executive, and his desire to join the SocialFlow team is a testament to our brand and its potential.” An excited Simon added, “I am thrilled to join the SocialFlow team and look forward to being a part of the next chapter in data-driven social media marketing.”

Simon began his digital media journey at Seth Godin’s Yoyodyne, where, as SVP Sales, he was responsible for Sales Programs, and then Promotions. He comes to SocialFlow from PointRoll, where he was the CMO. Simon has also served as the President and CMO of Boston-based Rovion, a provider of multi-screen, data-driven ad technology solutions for brands, publishers and agencies, which was acquired by PointRoll.

PointRoll is now a division of Sizmek.
