NewsOracle Announces New Cloud Program to Assure Partners’ Success

Oracle has announced that it is launching a next-gen cloud program in the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) to enable new and existing partners to boost their cloud-based business using its offerings. The announcement comes at a time when a large number of firms are expanding their options and revenue potential in the cloud with Oracle. The latest program is tailored to allow partners to leverage Oracle’s integrated cloud offerings, to help existing and new customers make a successful transition to the cloud, and assure partners success in the dynamic market.

We remain committed to expanding our partner community and providing all of its valued members the tools, technology and expertise they need to deliver excellence to our joint customers and succeed in the market.”

The newly-announced program designations will be made available on 1 February, 2016, and will empower OPN members with the option of highlighting their skills, expertise and investment in the Oracle Cloud. The designations, which complement current program levels on OPN by providing recognition tiers and progressive stage benefits, will also help partners differentiate their offerings with Oracle’s integrated Cloud Applications and Platform Services.

Oracle also launched the Cloud Registered level, a new gateway into OPN. New cloud partners can use the program for immediate opportunities to initiate their activities and expand their business in the cloud, without any initial investment. They are being encouraged to sign on for the Cloud Registered level by 31 May, 2016 to benefit from the offerings, at zero membership fees. The partners who register at Cloud Registered level are eligible for added benefits like being able to resell Oracle Cloud Platform offerings (PaaS and IaaS), access to the OPN Cloud Business Builder for training and resources in marketing, sales and technical fields, and OPN branding. The cloud resale program has registered over 122 percent year over year growth in last quarter alone.
