NewsMosley Ventures Fund Wins a $2 Million Investment From Mailchimp

Investing $2 million into Mosley Ventures’ fund, email marketing company MailChimp, takes its first step as the investment group Karman Line Ventures, LLC.

MailChimp CFO, Jenny Bloom says, “This is a great opportunity for MailChimp to invest in some promising Atlanta businesses. We’re hopeful that our investment in Mosley Ventures’ fund will help more startups grow, which is important to us as a company.”

In response here’s what managing partner of Mosley Ventures, Sig Mosley, had to say, “We’re pleased to have MailChimp as an investor in our fund. We think this partnership will make a very strong impact in the Atlanta technology community.”

Empowered with this investment, MailChimp has set its heart on supporting new businesses, with a workforce of 300 people in Atlanta MailChimp and hopes to scale up its email product as an entity.

“As an entrepreneur, I know how hard it is to build a business. Thanks to this fund, a number of new businesses will go on to do important things,” said Ben Chestnut, MailChimp’s CEO and co-founder.
