Social MediaBrandify Announces Vision for Future of Location-Based Data and Advertising at Inaugural Summit

Company Introduces the Need for a “Chief Location Officer” for Multi-location Organizations Looking to Improve the Connection with Their Customers

Brandify, the industry-leading provider of location-based digital marketing solutions that allow brands to better connect with their customers, has introduced a new role that needs to be added to the C-suite at multi-location organizations—the Chief Location Officer (CLO). Brandify made this announcement at its first annual Brandify Summit in Marina Del Rey, CA.

“Enterprise brands need a new chief on their executive team to convert online interest into offline sales in local markets,” said Manish Patel, CEO of Brandify. “We’re excited to introduce the concept of the Chief Location Officer (CLO) because it helps multi-location marketers understand the importance of outcomes and how they can be achieved if they have the right technology. As a brand’s CLO, Brandify will help companies to isolate individual markets, create more meaningful relationships with customers and expand revenue streams.”

With advanced software technology that allows the company to fill the role of a CLO for its customers, Brandify is able to address important advertising issues facing multi-location organizations. Brandify’s technology functions lie at the intersection of local and mobile, connecting brands to consumers at the point of decision and driving them to local locations. In each individual market an organization operates, Brandify will be able to address who the company’s current and target customers are, what they want, where they are, and how they can most effectively be reached—therefore allowing the brand to convert them into in-store traffic.

As an organization’s CLO, Brandify offers one dashboard and multilayered services that serve as tools to break down the internal silos that limit organizations from connecting with local customers. Its Location CMS provides a centralized point of reference for all location-based data and assets. The Presence Management tool lets companies develop listings, locators and landing pages to ensure a current consistent presence in individual markets. Brandify’s Local Advertising gives multi-location businesses the technology to use display, search and social advertising to connect and track local consumers. Additionally, the Social-Local component of Brandify monitors and engages with increasingly mobile local customers.

To round out the company’s list of advanced software, Brandify offers Insights, a reporting dashboard that gives users the ability to measure, analyze and benchmark an individual location’s Brand Score. This field-tested metric reflects the health of each physical store location and serves as a benchmark metric for a user to understand the strength of their local brand presence. Once a Brand Score is measured, organizations are able to utilize additional Brandify capabilities to further develop their local marketing strategies.

The need for a CLO at multi-location organizations was made evident by the issues addressed at the inaugural Brandify Summit in September. Topics covered included audience targeting, data stitching, beacon technology, online-offline attribution, reputation management and customer amnesia.

The Brandify Summit was established to provide a forum for brand marketers to share and learn strategies for presence management in local markets. To learn more about Brandify, Brand Score and the company’s suite of location-based digital marketing solutions, please visit www.brandify.com.
