Community Guidelines

These guidelines are applicable in relation to the product reviews and surveys that are posted / published on the Website. These guidelines are to be read in conjunction with the End User Agreement and Terms of Use (“Terms”) that is posted on the Website.         

  1. We do not allow users to review their own/employer’s products or those of their competitors.
  2. We manually verify all inputs/information provided in the reviews.
  3. We only publish reviews from users that: (a) have been verified as LinkedInTM users; and (b) meet our standards on surveys / product reviews.
  4. Criteria for publishing reviews:
    1. Users login via LinkedInTM and have a photo in their profile. In addition to this, we look at network connections to verify if the user has an active account, and only publish reviews from users who have been verified as aforesaid;
    2. Reviews of products are complete;
    3. The review has real-world insights that help our readers better understand how the concerned  product is; and
    4. The responses / information provided as part of the reviews:
      (a) are elaborate and easily comprehendible,
      (b) are civil and represent a fair assessment of the concerned product, and
      (c) do not include any private, proprietary or confidential information about the concerned product that is not otherwise public
    5. To allow for a wider range of opinions a maximum of 2 reviews per reviewer per product will be published
  5. Reporting reviews:
    1. Should reviews be objectionable, users can contact us and report it at https://martechsadvisor.com/reviews-contact-us/ ; and
    2. We edit reviews only for minor language edits. We do not edit reviews on the request of software providers / product owners or settle disputes between users and software providers / product owners.
  6. Promotional programs:
    1. From time to time, MarTech Advisor, being one of the divisions of DemandShore Solutions Private Limited, may run promotional campaigns to solicit reviews for new categories;
    2. Incentives that are provided as part of the promotional programs are solely at the discretion of the Reviews Evaluation team and are a token of appreciation for participating in the product reviews; 
    3. Incentives will only be provided to users whose reviews have been published, unless otherwise specified. The criteria for publishing reviews is as mentioned above.
    4. Incentives per reviewer have been capped at two tokens of appreciation per person for every validated and published review.
    5. Only the first 10 published reviews for every product on the site is entitled to the giveaways announced for that particular period of promotional campaign.

      Please note: Reviewers will receive gift cards via email on receipt of complete and published reviews within 7 business days of publication.
       
  7. Review integrity and software providers / product owners participation:
    1. While software providers / product owners can create and manage their profiles / accounts on MarTech Advisor, we have an established review evaluation process to ensure there is no bias towards positive comments; and
    2. We encourage software providers / product owners to have their customers leave reviews on our website. Customers who wish to leave reviews on our website should be requested to write a review that’s authentic and unbiased.
